Your personal opinions. I really think there is no bad DBZ game opening, but that's just me.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

I loved Budokai Tenkaichi's opening. That was beautiful. I don't remember the rest.

Some of those character designs were dookie, like Vegeta's, but that was a sweet intro nonetheless.

Budokai 3 takes it for me. I have such feelings for the animation and the song choice. Ultimate Tenkaichi isn't bad either.

Can't decide on the worst.

Tenkachi 1 had a great opening. That animation and the ending and each part. Goku vs Kid Boo, Gohan/Piccolo vs Cell, Freeza vs Vegeta. And its action packed, fast, great animations, the part with Goku and Vegeta at the end was intense. It was an awesome opening and as far as openings go, its probably one of my favorites in terms of style.

Then Tenkaichi 2 came and it was like, alright let's butcher all the style and animation and just make the most basic opening we can. It was a huge drop in substance form the first game's opening.

And as if they couldn't do worst, imo, Tenkachi 3 has the absolute worse opening I've seen so far. You remember how vivid the animation was in the first tenkachi game was? You remember how awesome and greatly animated the Goku vs Vegeta fight was? Yeah all of that got taken out of the opening here. All I see is just brief moments of animation.

The opening for Ultimate Tenkaichi that I saw managed to get back closer to the original Tenkaichi opening. It was awesome seeing that animation between Cooler and Gohan or Goku and Janemba. That's what I'm talking about, fluid, unique and vivid animation on top of it. It showed effort...can't say much for the gameplay from what I've heard, but it was nice as far as an opening goes.

This.........this is crap. It's basic, like Brofist said. It's incoherent. One scene the three Super Saiyans are rapidly firing at Cell, Freeza, and Boo, then Goku and Freeza have a beam clash, then suddenly we're watching Trunks in Antarctica. Goku and Vegeta join him and the ice breaks and we're looking at Golden Oozaru Baby, then we're watching Cell fly through space(?) where Trunks suddenly shows up, then we're back to Goku and Freeza clashing but they're on Namek now. What the f***?

Tenkaichi 1's intro at least made some semblance of sense.

Ultimate Tenkaichi's opening was loads better, but still kind of odd in the chosen battles. Yamcha and Krillin fighting Saibamen I can understand because they did at one point, but Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks abusing some Average Joe Oozaru? Why? Where? How? ...okay.

I really don't mind what they want to use for fights. If if they want to have a Saibaman beating up on Majin Boo, go right a head. What ifs are nice. Again we all know how an SSJ2 Kid Gohan Vs Cooler (hax or not) would go. But its nice to see it. As long as they're willing to put in the effort to give it good vivid animation.

I mean just compare Goku vs Vegeta (Tenkaichi 1) to Goku vs Freeza (Tenkaichi 2) and Gotenks vs Fat Boo (Tenkaichi 3) and you'll notice a huge drop in quality with each consecutive game.

Budokai 3's opening is the best! The music (from the original PS2 disc) is awesome, and the animation is beautiful.

Tenkaichi 2's opening has bland music, lazy animation and... It's just... Boring. Didn't really like what the characters were doing in the animation either.
I really can't get over how bad the music was in that opening...

I don't think you are remembering right.

RB2 was the one with Cooler. It had varying levels of hax

Cooler seems to be stronger than SSJ2 Gohan
Super 13 tanks Cell Games SSJ Vegeta's blasts
Trunks lands a punch on Full Power Bojack and fires a blast whilst being thrown away
SSJ Goku has the edge against Super Janemba.
The movie villains match the heros in a beam struggle
Hatchiyack blows away the other villains with ease

They're both decent intros, except the RB2 intro got butchered when the music was changed

The music in the TB2 intro was repetitive and boring.
